About this deal

This food stand mixer will stand up to the big guns on all levels and provide the user with a machine that does it all. It will sit on all standard counter tops but because of it's height it is better to place it were there are no wall mounted cupboards above so you can easily lift the whisk/beater blade when you have finished mixing. The Andrew James Food Mixer boasts some exceptional features such as an extra Powerful motor, Special robust gear mechanism and a huge 5.

Hearst UK is the trading name of the National Magazine Company Ltd, 30 Panton Street, Leicester Square, London, SW1Y 4AJ. mixing bowl effortlessly locks into place on the stand mixer and has 2 handles to help you lift and transfer. The metal flat beater does not come very close to the side but the flexi one does so it's fine to use with batter. The unlimited uses will see your stand mixer being used to create all types of home baking favourites.

The mixer operates by using a planetary motion mixing technique to ensure that every part of your ingredients is mixed together. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. I've had my Andrew James food mixer for just over 3 years, it was my first food mixer I ever had, I would say it was ok, not something amazing but it did the job, so I was happy.

I originally wrote this post over a year ago shortly after I got my hands on this wonderful machine. I've also used it to make sausage meat and it does the work beautifully, saving me having to use my food processor as I previously did.

The detachable splash guard makes sure your kitchen doesn't get messy and with the speeds this mixer can reach it's very necessary. To lower the head, depress the head lock button and gently push the head down to the lower locked position. We've include a flexi beater with silicone edges, a standard beater, a dough hook and a balloon whisk. the splatter guard has a gap between the plastic and the bowel, which is not good mixing flour or icing sugar! To lift the mixer head, gently depress the mixer head and at the same time, depress the head lock button. Our mains gripes were that it didn't pick up very small quantities, that it failed to whisk one egg white, and how it was very noisy in use. Since I got the mixer at the beginning of 2013, I've used it at least once every fortnight to make bread dough and it always yields perfect results. The flexible beater with a silicone edging can be used for most tasks, and we have also included a stainless steel beater, dough hook, and balloon whisk. Not everyone will want a mixer this big but if you do a lot of baking it's a great piece of kit for the money. Getting something totally free is likely to get a true MoneySaver's heart pumping faster than any cardio workout ever could.

I don’t know why the holes are there because they don’t seem to serve any purpose, except to catch water when you are washing up! But since I use it every single week without fail, I thought it was only right that I re-visit this post and add to it, telling you guys how much I still love and value this mixer with all my heart. And it also makes equipping different attachments easy too, with all attachments quickly interchanged via a simple twist release mechanism. litre food mixer bowl allows you to always have an extra bowl available, meaning you always have a clean bowl ready for your next mix. I have a KitchenAid that I got a few years ago, and I have never been able to get it to work correctly.
